Through The Wall!
After years of earning a living writing non-fiction while plodding away at short stories in the darkest parts of the nights, two publications have bought my fiction. Just today I got a note from the editor at Zahir, who is buying "Luna De Miel." Back in March I heard from the editor at Dreams & Vision magazine, who bought "The Bone Road." It feels like milestone moment in my fiction writing, in terms of development of craft as well as discernment of genre.

People who don't care much about fiction, or who like to read it but aren't interested in writing it, might wonder what the big deal is. I'm hugely grateful that my wife Kristen not only tolerates me swiping evening hours to tilt at these windmills, but that she is as excited as I am about these sales. Man, I love her.
